T. Venkanna
A woman lounges confidently across the canvas, confronting the viewer with an unwavering gaze. Her exaggerated features evoke both caricature and classical nudes, while beneath her lies a vast collection of sex toys, prosthetics, and fetish objects. The male head, isolated and inverted, appears diminished—almost decorative. Venkanna reverses traditional roles: the woman is the actor, the chooser, the desiring subject. The man, fragmented and submissive, is reduced to an accessory in her world. With wit and provocation, this work challenges heteronormative power structures and reclaims sexual agency from the margins.
