This exhibition presents, for the first time, a major selection of T. Venkanna’s prints from 2002 to 2024. Featuring over a hundred works in etching, drypoint, lithography, woodcut, and linocut, it traces more than two decades of his relentless exploration of the graphic medium.
Venkanna’s prints are intense, personal, and often transgressive. They cast the body as a theatre of pleasure and pain, memory and critique. From mythic archetypes to grotesque transformations, his figures challenge the viewer with satire, empathy, and raw vulnerability.
Organised into six thematic arcs with interwoven chronology, this exhibition highlights recurring themes that transcend time. It invites visitors to journey through two decades of an artist who has pushed the graphic medium to its limits.
