The work of Nazareth Pacheco is something we experience in our own body, as we are drawn by the vortex of a world that devastates us, strewing entrails in bizarre orgasms of pain and ecstacy. Unlike with artists who show their bodies as artistic objects, here we expose our bodies before sharp and piercing objects, obliterating any possible identity. We viewers become part of the so called body art; our bodies turned into battlefields. Such is the radicalism of Nazareth Pacheco's work
