The movement of twin shadows in the 2015 kinetic sculpture by Narendra Yadav titled My Phantom Mother - invites the audience to probe the enigmatic concept of duality. By shifting and playing with the real shadow and the painted one, the work provokes the viewer to acknowledge the existence of many such dualities that reside within the self.
